This patented trailer ball ensures a hassle-free drop-in installation and grants an extra 4″ of rearward offset, significantly enhancing the clearance between your truck bed and trailer. This advantage is particularly valuable for short-cab pickup trucks. The multi-fit puck system is extensively tested and designed to handle demanding tasks, compatible with popular truck brands such as Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Nissan, and Ram, as well as CURT OEM-style gooseneck hitches. Engineered to seamlessly accommodate hardworking pickup trucks, the CURT multi-fit OEM puck system gooseneck ball with 4” offset incorporates a patented quarter-turn installation mechanism. This allows for quick insertion of the ball into the gooseneck hitch when required, allowing full functionality of the truck bed when needed. When it’s time to free up the bed for other towing or cargo purposes, simply lift the lever and twist a quarter-turn to unlock the retention balls. This enables effortless removal and convenient storage. With a towing capacity of up to 30,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 7,500 lbs. vertical load, this kit is constructed from forged and machined steel alloy, providing reliable strength for handling even the largest gooseneck trailers. It’s important to note that these weight ratings are limited by the lowest-rated component in the entire towing system, including the vehicle itself. The kit includes a 2-5/16″ diameter ball that fits 2-5/16″ gooseneck couplers and is compatible with the truck bed puck system found on Chevy, Ford, GMC, Nissan, and Ram trucks equipped with the towing prep package (Chevrolet / GMC long-bed 2020-current only). Part #60669 is required for installing on select Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 6.5′ short bed trucks. It also fits CURT OEM-style gooseneck hitches.
