By replacing the restrictive stock intake hose and airbox, this lightweight alloy tube and cone filter configuration optimizes airflow and offers excellent heat dissipation for long-lasting durability. The included heat shield further maximizes the system’s cooling effect. Additionally, unlike traditional cold air systems, this short ram design provides peace of mind during wet weather by keeping the filter safely positioned within the engine bay. Fine-tuned by HPS to deliver performance gains, increase horsepower and torque, and improve throttle response. Does NOT require tuning after installation. Replaces the restrictive stock intake hose and air box with a light weight mandrel-bent aluminum alloy pipe and high-flow air filter to maximize air flow. Features HPS signature race proven reinforced silicone hoses and industrial grade 100% stainless steel T-bolt clamps. Included HPS Performance high flow air filter is washable and reusable.
