Metra 82-6901 Universal 5.25/6.5in w/tweeter Speaker Adapter for 6×9 location Metra 82-6901 universal 6×9 inch plat conversion to 6.5 inch speaker adapter. Speaker adapter plates used when replacing the OEM speaker with aftermarket speakers. Designed to fit 5.25 inch to 6.5 inch speakers and separate 3/4 to 2 inch tweeter in a 6×9 speakers location. When replacing the OEM speakers with aftermarket speakers gaps or open spaces may be left behind. With our speaker adapter plates it allows the installation of aftermarket speakers with no gaps and provides an OEM fit to the vehicle.
