This original-style carpet underlayment is a highly effective sound and vibration deadener as well as a temperature barrier. It has an asphalt layer with a cotton backing, just like the original underlayment found in classic Mustangs. This underlayment will cover the front and rear floor pans and the transmission hump. It’s die-cut for a perfect fit and comes with four pieces of carpet underlayment in the kit
